We’ve Launched the '20 Men Needed' Challenge for Prostate Cancer UK!

We are thrilled to launch our brand-new fundraising campaign, with which we are challenging 20 local men to take a deep breath and sing with us at our 2026 Christmas Concert, and raise vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

Starting September 21st, you’ll join us for our autumn/winter weekly rehearsal season. All we ask is that each participant aims to raise at least £50 in sponsorship for taking on the challenge. Don't worry if you've never sung before or can't read music—we don't hold auditions, and everyone is welcome! We rehearse on Monday evenings from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Midsomer Norton Methodist Centre.

We ran a similar campaign three years ago, which raised over £4,000 for the charity and brought 18 fantastic new singers into our ranks—many of whom are still singing with us today!

Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK, affecting one in eight men, making this a cause incredibly close to our hearts. Plus, group singing is fantastic for your health and wellbeing, so this challenge is a true win-win for both you and the charity.
