Have you ever experienced the magic of choral music reverberating through the spaces of a beautifully refurbished church, filling every corner with song? A couple of weeks ago, we had the privilege of being part of a truly unforgettable night with Mousehole Male Voice Choir. The anticipation leading up to the event was palpable, and it certainly did not disappoint!
We were at the recently renovated All Saints Weston Church, a venue that was both elegant and relaxing, creating an ideal setting for a night of captivating performances.
Mousehole Male Voice Choir, known for their exceptional standard of singing, showcased their talent effortlessly and the atmosphere in the church was electric.
One of the most memorable moments of the night was the finale when 100 voices from both choirs united in song, performing 'American Trilogy.' The sheer power and emotion that emanated from this collective performance was truly spine-tingling.
Following the performance, both choirs met in the church hall for refreshments, a drink and a singalong, known in the choir as the 'Afterglow'. Voices of all present resonated through the room, bringing the night to a perfect close. Not only are the Cornishmen an outstanding choir, but they are also a group of genuinely friendly individuals who know how to create moments that linger.
Hopefully MMVC will have a return match in Cornwall in the future if you're interested in coming!
Thanks to the choir for coming such a long way over the Tamar to foreign parts, to the Church for amazing hospitality and if you did, to you and thanks for coming ;-).
Stay tuned for more adventures of Mendip Male Voice Choir.
