Kate Courage - Music Director
BA(QTS)Hons, MA, ALCM
Kate is is the Assistant Head of Wiltshire Music Service (vocal and curriculum) and also a freelance conductor, musical director and composer. Her song ‘Shining’, commissioned by the Mendip Male Voice Choir was published by BaBa productions and all copyright fees go to the Children’s Hospice South West. Kate has written music for several productions and dramas, including King Lear, The Witches, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and All’s Well That Ends Well, plus dance scores for Tan Dance and a variety of children's songs. She is bought in as Musical Director and singing leader for shows, conferences and training events all over the country and also sings with the Bath Operatic and Dramatic Society.
Carl Speck - Pianist
BA Hons, PGCE
Carl is a primary school teacher, freelance musical director and accompanist for several groups and musical societies in the local area. He graduated from Bath Spa University with a degree in Music and Drama and often performs with Bath Opera. He also belongs to Platform 8, a Bath-based drama group who performed at the West End last summer and can frequently be found treading the boards in various guises. He runs a Saturday Music School in Bath and is the founder of Performing Teachers, a group offering tuition, workshops and concerts throughout the year. Recent engagements included Snoopy with BODS.
Hannah Lockwood - Soprano soloist 
BA (Hons), DipABRSM
Hannah teaches singing, as well as being the Mendip Male Voice Choir's resident soloist. She graduated from Bath Spa University with a first class honours degree in Music, and then studied to gain a Diploma (DipABRSM) in singing under her singing teacher, Judy Davis. Recent roles with Bath Opera include: Adina in The Elixir of Love, Cunegonde in Candide, Musetta in La Boheme, Maliella In The Jewels of the Madonna and most recently, Fiordiligi in Cosi Fan Tutte. She has performed as a soloist for Rutter's Requiem, Mozart's Mass in C minor and Coronation Mass in Bath Abbey, the Guildhall and the Assembly Rooms. Future engagements include The Marriage of Figaro touring opera.
